The ASK programme

From 1 August 2025, the Department for Education will no longer fund the programme. Schools and colleges seeking support with apprenticeships and technical pathways should contact their local 91¿ì»îÁÖ Hub or the .

Apprenticeship support

Schools and colleges seeking support to raise awareness of apprenticeships and technical education can access a range of online and in-person initiatives:

Online:

  • The 91¿ì»îÁÖ and Enterprise Company’s (CEC) hosts a range of high-quality resources to support schools and colleges in building understanding of technical education pathways.

  • Specific sector initiatives such as – a wide range of resources on careers in the creative sector including technical pathways into the sector.

In-person:

  • The Apprenticeship Ambassador Network (AAN) – educators can  as well as T Level and .
  • CEC’s national network of 91¿ì»îÁÖ Hubs, to help coordinate employers and local programmes to engage directly with schools and colleges to support their careers education including to raise awareness of apprenticeship pathways into their sectors.
